Milking Yard Farm

Located in EAST TRENTHAM –

Milking Yard Farm is fifty acres of rich red soil and lush green pastures nestled in the hills near Trentham in Victoria. We raise chickens, sheep and cattle and grow lots of old-fashioned fruit and veggies. Here on the farm we live with a menagerie of wombats, cockatoos, swans and the star – Henry the Border Collie – who runs the show.

Around here we grow great food slowly and naturally – just how nature intended. We’ve spent years finding and growing the best produce with truly unique textures and flavours, now recognised by some of Victoria’s best restaurants. Our priorities are the welfare of our animals and the wellbeing of people and that of our environment. This means, no chemicals or unsustainable farming techniques. Humane treatment of animals and the use of organic principles are at the heart of everything we do.
