A commercial coffee roasting company established in 2016 by co-owners Simon and Simon. Situated in picturesque Blackwood, a small township hidden in Victoria’s Wombat State forest, on the scenic route to / from Daylesford.
Chilled tunes and quality green coffee beans are turned into something truly special in the fully restored centuries old gold rush building. Martin Street Coffee is a commercial roasting business and the sole tenant at the Blackwood location. The building houses the coffee roastery, a product development lab, specialised storage facilities, quality control room, offices, training rooms, an event space and the owner’s private residence.
Martin Street Coffee Roasters is set apart, by their unique use of handmade, fluid bed air roasting machines. Our bespoke roasting equipment uses 20% less energy and emits 90% less smoke than traditional wood and gas fired methods. The result is smooth, full flavoured coffee that’s never bitter.
Simon and Simon operate their brand around a simple promise, delivering good coffee, building good relationships, and supporting every community in which our beans are consumed.
We don’t have a cafe or public facilities at either of our locations, Blackwood or Melbourne, however our Australian online store is always open.
